Hotel was very clean and reasonably priced with good service and an excellent breakfast included in the price. Good, quiet location in town and convienent to other shops, resturants, supermarkets,etc. Friendly staff. Date of stay February 2010

We stayed here for two nights and were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was for being so close to town. The rooms were clean, but a little tight. My only complaints would be the that the closet was in the bathroom and that they had soap dispensers with something that supposedly would act as soap and shampoo. Breakfast was good and was available early. Our room had a fridge so we could have stocked soft drinks if we had wanted to. The location gave us the opportunity to try several local restaurants without the need to use a taxi. We booked a night hike to the Arenal Volcano and a day trip to the Rio Frio while there. I'd recommend both trips. Date of stay January 2010

Handy location in the centre of La Fortuna. Views of Arenal Volcano if you are lucky enough to be there when it's not in cloud! Rooms were fine but nothing special - received a pretty bad electric shock off the bathroom light fixture. Pool and breakfast area were nice. Date of stay December 2009
